Celebrating National Day at NIS

One of the most awaited events at Nibras International School is our National Day Celebrations. This year, the festivities were filled with interactive attractions, student performances, and fun
games.

Families gathered in the school’s amphitheater to watch the children sing and perform and dance numbers.

Emirati food was served around the school, and there were many fun games facilitated by both the Elementary and Secondary students.

We had various areas like the camel and falcon station, the salon station, snack station, and the photobooth station that were enjoyed by our students and families.

It was a busy and fun-filled day that allowed for our entire community to highlight the Emirati culture and traditions, while celebrating this great country.

Ms. Alicy Andrade, a parent of a Grade 2 student, was happy to be a part of the wonderful event.

“I loved the event. It was very organized and fun for both the kids and parents,” she shared.

With the success of the festivities, Dr. Jay Teston, the school’s principal has positive things to say.

“I am proud of our student leaders and their abilities to organize this year’s National Day Celebration at NIS.  It was a labor of love and dedication as they honor the country we are all living in, and once again open our community to the world,” he said.
