NIS is an American Curriculum co-educational school for children aged from 4 to 18 years of age.

The Academic Year runs from September to June or July, but children can be admitted to school during the course of the academic year, subject to a place being available and KHDA rules and regulations.

Below is a table showing the age placement guide for the 2024/25 academic year.

Please note that from Grade 2 and above, entry is determined by the grade the student has completed or is currently in (if enrolling mid-year), as stated on the student’s transfer certificate and report card.  The table below is a guide only.
