Extra-curricular activities are an integral part of a child’s education

NIS provides a wide range of extra-curricular activities to help students cultivate individual interests and talents, and develop their social skills.

There are many benefits for students who engage in a broad range of extracurricular activities. This exposure allows them to experience new opportunities, develop new talents, enhance their social skills and support their academic progress. The activities offered at NIS are always growing and developing. Field trips within Dubai and the surrounding area provide wonderful opportunities for our students to enrich their learning through hands-on, real-world experiences that bring classroom learning materials to life.

There is also a wide range of extra-curricular activities available at NIS. These include:

Following recent KHDA rules, our ECAs are organized by the third-party provider. NIS has partnered with ‘Just Play’, one of the leading sports management companies in the UAE working with a large network of public and private schools. They are our partner in delivering Extra-Curricular Activities, Holiday Camps to our students, and they also manage our sports facilities. Just Play is an approved establishment under the Dubai Sports Council and it works with over 30 different sports/non-sports providers, who all have specialist teachers and qualified coaches delivering a wide range of activities.
