Child Safeguarding and Protection

NIS Dubai is fully committed to students’ safeguarding and protection. The selected applicants will be required to take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within our school, as well as adhere to and ensure compliance with NIS Dubai’s child protection policies and procedures.

Disclosure and Barring Service

All the successful applicants will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal Records check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) before an appointment is confirmed.

Those successful applicants from outside the jurisdiction of the DBS will be required to provide an approved certificate from the similar authority in the country in which he or she is currently based.

Elementary Teachers Education:A certified teaching qualification.
Experience:The desire to provide Outstanding teaching and learning.
Experience of the American curriculum is preferred but not essential.
Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents.

Learning Support AssistantEducation:Understanding of relevant specialist area (e.g. subject area, Key Stage) sufficient to pupils’ learning

Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents.

Facilities ManagerEducation:A minimum of high school leaving certificates and a recognised industry qualification.
Experience: An excellent knowledge of safety and security, with experience of safeguarding with contractors and school support staff.
A suitable candidate will have more than two years' experience in a similar role, specifically focused on facilities management within a large commercial use property.
Requirements:
Maintain the school building to its best possible condition with regards to health, safety, security, and cleanliness.
Provide leadership to the facilities, cleaning, security, and transportation teams ensuring that all tasks are carried out with the highest level of professionalism.
