Child Safeguarding and Protection

NIS Dubai is fully committed to students’ safeguarding and protection. The selected applicants will be required to take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within our school, as well as adhere to and ensure compliance with NIS Dubai’s child protection policies and procedures.

Disclosure and Barring Service

All the successful applicants will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal Records check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) before an appointment is confirmed.

Those successful applicants from outside the jurisdiction of the DBS will be required to provide an approved certificate from the similar authority in the country in which he or she is currently based.

Requirements:
Native Speaker.
Non-Native speakers must have a minimum score of 96 in TOEFL or 7.5 in IELTS
Elementary Teachers Education:A certified teaching qualification.
Experience:The desire to provide Outstanding teaching and learning.
Experience of the American curriculum is preferred but not essential.
Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents.
Requirements:
Native Speaker.
Non-Native speakers must have a minimum score of 96 in TOEFL or 7.5 in IELTS.
Learning Support AssistantEducation:Understanding of relevant specialist area (e.g. subject area, Key Stage) sufficient to pupils’ learning
Experience:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom.
An excellent team player both within the department and across phases.
Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents.
Good command of English.
Time management and organisation skills.
Literacy and Numeracy skills.
