Last week some students from the middle school attended the Mini Dubai Cycling Tour. The event was hosted by Dubai Sports Council and Dubai Tour. The students raced against numerous schools from across the UAE. All of our students finished inside the top 50 but a special mention must go to Aaliyah from Grade 6 who came 8th out of a hundred students. This was a fantastic achievement from Aaliyah as she was racing against students who are two grades older than her. In the boys race Ayoub and Sharbel from grade 8 finished in the top 20, with Ayoub finishing in 14th place out of 120 boys. Thank you to the following students who attended the event and did the school proud: Malak, Yasmine, Dina, Aaliyah, Maya, Sheikha, Ayoub, Sharbel, Mykl, Elfadul, Andrey and Sharbel.
