Graduation is an important milestone for every student as it marks the end of a chapter and the beginning of a new journey in their academic lives. We at Nibras International School are committed to recognize all of our students’ achievements, and we were delighted to celebrate them at the 2023 NIS Graduation Ceremony.
Nibras International School held a graduation ceremony for 66 students who are the Class of 2023. They were awarded diplomas, medals, and certificates for their academic excellence and achievements . The ceremony was attended by the families of the graduates, NIS staff and teachers, and representatives from the International Schools Partnership (ISP).
Apart from the graduation, NIS also hosted the third edition of the NIS Legacy Dinner. The dinner is the school’s opportunity to celebrate and award outstanding students in the Elementary and Secondary Departments. The students recognized during the event were the school’s valedictorians, Omar Ismail and Soufia Azazi, and salutatorian Abdalrahman Mohamed who all achieved the highest marks in their class; as well as Basel Kokash and Leen Kokash, students who have been with NIS since Kindergarten. Grade 5 students Fedor Pushkarev and Farah Al Rammahi, and Grade 8 students Ibrahim Haneef Haamid and Nada Halawa were also recognized for their outstanding academic accomplishments.
Dr. Jay Teston, the Principal of Nibras International School, had positive words for our students.
“This is an opportunity for our teachers, school leaders, students, and parents to come together and celebrate the accomplishments of our students and their future aspirations. It is important to our school that we celebrate and capture these special moments of our students with their families,” he shared.
