This Ramadan, our students really took on the true spirit of the Holy Month and showed their kindness.
Student council members started an ‘EID Initiative’ to make this special holiday even more special for our support staff, including bus drivers, cleaners, maintenance, and security. They engaged students and staff across the school to join the initiative and share their kindness.
Students presented NIS support staff with a handwritten thank you note for each of our essential staff, expressing their gratitude and appreciation. Each staff member was also given a chocolate along with the note, and an envelope with a gift card.
Ana, one of the Student Council members, highlighted that our school support staff deserved a thoughtful gift, and even though they are not always in direct communication with students, their hard work is seen and felt. “We were making someone’s day and that made me even happier. It was such an enjoyable activity, and I hope that in the near future we get the opportunity to do this once again” added Ana.
We are so proud of our students’ initiative and their kindness during our school’s EID celebrations.
